Sinthiya Tea Company Ltd, Sinthiya Tours & Travels, Langliya Chora Tea Estate Ltd, Simon Sweaters , Simon Jasy & Company has been acquired by Sinthiya Group in the year 2015. The entire tea estate encompasses an area of 875.78 hectors of land where 330.56 hectors are being utilized for Tea plantation. The operation of the Tea estate is under an efficient and professional management team who are working hard to improve the harvest and quality respectively.
We have taken various development programs for both Field and Factory after taking over from Games Finlay who established this tea estate in 1884. We have raised tea, shade and forestry plant in own nursery for the development of field. Now, around 400 labors are working in the estate daily and 14 supervision staffs as well.
We have also improved the factory with modern machineries like Rotarvane, 36″ Jumbo 5cut CTC Machine, Continuous Fermentation Machine (CFM), Coal Heater, VFBD Dryer Shorting Machine with fully conveyorsed system. We are producing high-quality black tea which is usually sent to Chittagong tea auction. The production of the estate is increasing every year at a constant growth rate maintain the global standard. In 2013, our annual production was 333,523kg and gradually heading towards a target of 400,000kg within short period.

LANGLIYA CHORA TEA ESTATE LTD
Sinthiya occupies Tea Gardens named Langliya Chora Tea Estate Ltd. Total area under tea plantation of this Company is around 875.78 Hectares. The Company has achieved almost five million Kgs made tea in 2019. The yield of the gardens is 2,350 kgs/ha. Specially Sinthiya Tea Garden has achieved more than 3,000 kgs. yield/ha. which is almost double of the national average production. This Garden is one of the highest yielding gardens in the country..
Each of the tea gardens has factories equipped with modern tea manufacturing facilities. The tea produced is of high quality and sells at a premium at the Chittagong Tea Auction.
